Today we had a networking event for drought research, with over 10 people being the first official research visitors to our new roofs, while the other attendants visited the waterlab or the DISC.
A common question was how to compare the rooms/roofs when they are not all oriented in the same way. Originally we did request a new building to be constructed that would allow for identical rooms and orientation, but as this was not possible due to permits, we have to make due with what we have. The difference in orientation, and also use, will have to be taken into account when comparing results.
We also hope to see the vegetation growing in the coming months and to be able to identify the different species as they bloom.
