LILa Green Infrastructure is collaborating with Green Panels. This is a startup developing extensive green roofs that can be mounted on solar panel attachments on sloped roofs. In this fashion, the sunny side of a sloped roof can be fitted with solar panels and the less sunny side with green roofs. However, it is still unknown what the performance is in terms of energy savings and water retention. We aim to build a test site at the University of Twente to measure these factors.
