European Day of Parks

Every May 24 it is European Day of Parks. It is "a commemorative day for Protected Areas across Europe that was launched in 1999 by the EUROPARC Federation to celebrate Protected Areas throughout Europe". 


While you can enjoy the parks on the University Twente, for instance at the Pinetum, you can also visit neighbouring towns like Oldenzaal who also celebrate a day of the park on the weekend.
